From a young age, Jennifer was known for her ability in the kitchen to create something from nothing, and her undying attention to detail. So it was no surprise when she enrolled at culinary school in her hometown of Montreal which then led her to the French Culinary Institute in New York where she continued to build on her passion to create. Upon moving to Toronto, Jennifer expanded her creative talents to the world of renovating homes.
Her uncanny knack to see the potential and not the product propelled her to purchase neglected homes and embark on transforming these gems to their former glory. Once completed, her reputation was established among friends and colleagues who sought her out for her opinion on how they too, could find the perfect home. The seamless move to representing buyers as a real estate agent was a ‘fete a complete’ and her career was born.
Today, Jennifer continues to understand that purchasing and owning a home is a significant financial and emotional investment, and helps clients find a property that reflects their individual tastes and can serve as a sound, life enhancing investment as well as their beloved home. Whether it is a primary residence, a pied-a-terre or an investment property, Jennifer’s clients come back to her time and again for her strong negotiating and communication skills, as well as her integrity and diligent work ethic. When she’s not busy helping her clients, or renovating another ‘gem’, Jennifer can be found helping with the family business, Nota Bene, fine tuning the many elements that go into running an acclaimed restaurant. After all, as Jennifer knows… it’s all in the details.
Eva always had a passion for all things homes and knew from a young age that one day she wanted to work in real estate. It was no surprise then that the minute she got her real estate license in 1992 after graduating from University, she immediately hit the ground running and knocked on doors up and down the streets in her neighbourhood.
"My first sale still stands out in my mind," Eva recalls, "…. l got the listing by knocking on doors my first week in the business and I sold it through my own open house. The couple trusted my enthusiasm, sincerity and determination. I was so excited to have my license I must have knocked on a hundred doors just saying hello!”
Today, with 25 years of successful experience that has placed her in the top 5% for salespeople nationwide, nothing has changed: Eva approaches each client with that same enthusiasm, dedication and drive that launched her career. Suffice to say, her mainly repeat and referral, and growing base of clients all appreciate this unrelenting consistency in her service.
A native Torontonian, Eva has lived her entire life in the city. Having grown up in the Kingsway her career naturally began in Etobicoke and quickly expanded to include Mississauga, Burlington and Oakville. Later, she specialized in the burgeoning condominium marketplace with an emphasis on the waterfront, downtown core and Yorkville areas. More recently, Eva has expanded her business to include residential properties in communities like Forest Hill, Summerhill, Leaside, Moore Park, South Hill, Rosedale and Bennington Heights.
Today, when she’s not out racing the ski hills with her daughter and husband on the slopes of Craigleith, or actively participating in volunteer work in Toronto and her daughters school, BSS, Eva can be found providing that same level of service to her clients 24/7. And yes, if you follow her closely, she can still be found knocking on doors because as Eva knows, a simple “hello” can often lead to a million possibilities.
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family with a father who founded Toronto’s premier limousine service, Rosedale Livery, Candy Dinnick knew from a young age that success was only as good as your ability to deliver on your promise for service excellence. Better yet, she knew that her career would follow in her father, Douglas McCutcheon’s, footsteps as an entrepreneur who always put her client’s needs first.
As a graduate from Western University it was no surprise then that her wide spread network of family and friends would turn to her knowing she would provide this same level of client service and discretion in the world of real estate. Today, 20+ years later, Candy’s reputation precedes her as an agent who understands that reaching is just as important as exceeding a client’s goals.
Known for her calm, focused, informed and friendly approach, Candy continues to work with her clients that have known her for years selling homes in many of the top luxury markets where she has also lived, including Rosedale, Lawrence Park and Hogg's Hollow. As well, Candy is always looking for the up and coming areas for the next generation who are often searching for the new “hotspot” in Toronto’s explosive marketplace.
When Candy is not out searching for the perfect home for her clients, she can be found with her 2 teenage sons keeping busy with their hockey and baseball, or playing golf at The Toronto Hunt Club. She also enjoys spending time with her partner Michael Latimer and his 3 children, at her cottage on Lake Simcoe as well as at his family’s beloved property - Kilcoo Camp- where the boys have spent many years as campers and now as staff.
There is a famous saying: “If you want something done, ask a busy person!” There is no one this applies to more than Anne Marie Liscio, our Director, Client Services at OxleyRobert Real Estate. Juggling schedules, managing a busy life and full-time job and then finding time to ‘fit in’ a favour for a friend, colleague or client is in her blood. Growing up in an Italian family who owned a corner grocery store with parents who worked 7 days a week, Anne Marie learned at a young age if you want something done, figure out how to do it yourself. She translated this valuable childhood lesson to her dynamic and energetic persona that leaves many of us wondering if she operates on the same 24 hour day as we do.
It was no surprise then that when we decided at OxleyRobert to have all our staging IN HOUSE and offer this service to clients at no additional charge, we knew that it would take a special person to spearhead this division who understood the delicate balance between ‘getting it done’ and being considerate of the delicate process.
Understanding how to declutter a family’s home and still leave the owners feeling at peace takes a special talent that Anne Marie brings to each client she meets. With over twenty years of fashion and home design experience, and as a lover of interesting and unique furniture and fashion, Anne Marie understands the importance photography can play when she puts a room together and how colour, light and texture all play an important role in creating an attractive and compelling setting. With this in mind, she brings a fresh and detailed eye to each home she enters and every time she is done, our phone rings from the client saying “I don’t know if I want to sell now – my home looks so beautiful!!”.
Joining OxleyRobert from a background in home staging for the past 10 years, Anne Marie has staged 100’s of unique homes across Ontario, and approaches each project with a strong understanding of the respective market analysis and demographics particular to each property. She insists the best staged properties never look "staged". Instead, extra time and effort is always spent to ensure each room looks "real and believable", while still being photo-ready best.
Anne Marie also has a strong and lengthy customer service background and, as Director of Client Services, her role also extends to the overseeing and coordinating of many pertinent details related to the preparation of the property and working closely with the homeowner to ensure a smooth and stress-free process from beginning to end.
When she is not styling a home, she is applying her super juggling powers to managing the hectic and consistent hockey schedule for her two teenage sons who both play competitive hockey for the Greater Toronto and North Toronto Hockey Leagues. In her odd moments of peace, Anne Marie can most likely be found rummaging through antique stores for fabulous finds…. And of course, knowing these may appear in the next home she prepares makes these finds all the sweeter. At OxleyRobert, we’ve changed that famous saying to: “When you want something done…. You’ll find Anne Marie.”
